After you are able to maximize your activity levels by delegating all of your low income activities, how do you take that time back and use it efficiently?
You have got to have a plan. Don’t just throw training at your team randomly, you have to have a plan like Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, we do training from 10 to 11 A.M. Everybody stop what you’re doing, we’re doing training. As counter-intuitive as it feels to step away from making service calls or running quotes, taking that step back to do a training for an hour is all the difference. Training is what builds people’s confidence up and builds them to the top fastest.
Speed, execution, and efficiency, those are the three main things for me in 2023.
The key word to me here is efficiency and so let me break down what my team is looking like right now and how I plan to grow.
I have two full-time administrative service team members that are remote, and they are handling all the back end underwriting service needs. Unfortunately, they can’t do coverage related stuff like selling policies because they’re not licensed and they’re out of the country. But they can both assist with data entry, they can handle certificates and all inbound service needs and take notes to delegate them on to a licensed agent if they can’t handle something that has to do with coverage.
Now we have two licensed agents that are now going to be handling all the inbound leads and cross-selling opportunities for customers. They are just going to be loaded up with opportunities and deals to make commission and to make their incomes 10x. That’s really my main goal is to help put them in positions where they know what they’re doing. They can sell the products and are working with the right leads. One is more of cold leads, one’s more in book leads and really they’re just opportunities that’s right in front of them to just wrap them up and bring more revenue and generate more Revenue to the business.
Then we have myself who is going to be overseeing all of it and meanwhile working the big opportunities and going after the big fish like the 100K premium plus. On top of that, I’m also shooting for at least twenty thousand dollars in life insurance premium a month. It might not sound like much to some people out there that write a lot of life, but for me that’s a decent amount. I’m especially working with these business owners that are big business owners and getting them a couple million dollars in term life insurance.
Lastly we have one full-time marketing person who is also working remotely. I’m recording lots of content and then we’re giving it over to her to split it up into different pieces of content and putting it out onto social media. We’re posting every single day on TikTok, YouTube shorts, regularly making instagram and long form YouTube content as well as Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
We have our lead generation game dialed in and at this point we have too many leads which is a great problem to have.
I think we are going to crush it this year when we use speed, efficiency, and execution as our main goals and we will see you guys at the top. See you soon, peace!
